Just Enough

and some day, you'll walk down the road, and forget why you started walking
and you may even forget your way home, and then you'll know you're old
and your family will grow worried and try to put you in a home
but I say NI! you gotta live even if it isn't a life

and one day, you may find that your wife has sabotaged the plumbing
just because she met a plummer during the girl's night out
and she really likes him because he pleases her in ways you never could
and you will cry. but then you'll live even though life's not worth living

and you may have enough, and you may give it up
and you may take it out, or you may have no doubt
that the end of you is here,
and the time for tears is gone,
and once you are too,
it's like there was never you

but you will live on, in a majestic 'part of everything' way
and any loved ones you left behind will cling to that belief
but for now you have not a clue if this is truly true
so you just keep on living while you've got the breath and will to live

and that might be just enough
